Her Success Story
Last year a video of Browniesha's Success Story was released to the students of Compton College. Browniesha is a former student and wanted to encourage those on their journey of Success.
"Blue is the Color of Happiness"
In this collection of monologues, six African-American women share how they found happiness in their journeys to healing. Rhythmic poetry connects the excerpts of dialogue as the women recount past traumas and the lessons learned from them.Traumas that have a tendency to result in destructive behaviors and downward spirals are overcome through hard work and seeking therapy, an issue that is often taboo in the African-American community. In this short film part of Browniesha's story is played out
